Authority Requests & Terrorist Content Procedure

Authority requests and removal orders must be sent to legal@redpatrons.de. This channel must be continuously monitored for legally time-critical orders. Ordinary reports use /report; emergencies involving imminent danger should also be referred to local emergency services.

Request validation

RedPatron verifies authority identity, legal basis, jurisdiction, scope, signature/authentication, affected account or URL, confidentiality demands and available review rights. We reject or narrow informal, overbroad, defective or unauthorised demands. Only necessary data is disclosed through a secure channel, with an immutable request and disclosure log.

EU terrorist-content removal orders

An authenticated order under Regulation (EU) 2021/784 triggers a dedicated one-hour deadline. On receipt, the system timestamps and pages the on-call Legal and Trust & Safety team, preserves the order, immediately prevents public access where necessary, verifies formal validity in parallel, removes or disables the identified content across the required EU scope, preserves limited evidence lawfully and reports completion through the prescribed channel.

If force majeure or objective technical impossibility prevents compliance, RedPatron informs the issuing authority without undue delay using the prescribed procedure and completes the action as soon as possible. Content-provider notice, request for scrutiny and remedy are handled where legally permitted. Proactive measures must be specific, proportionate, privacy-preserving and include human oversight; no general monitoring obligation is accepted.

Quarterly tests must demonstrate 24/7 receipt, escalation within 10 minutes, action within one hour, dual-control evidence handling, notification, restoration after an invalid order and audit export.
